The Mary E. Groff Charitable Trust was established in 1993 by Mary E. Groff, an attorney and philanthropist, to honor her late brother, the neurosurgeon Robert A. Groff, and his many contributions to the field of medicine.

The Mary E. Groff Charitable Trust is a 501(c)(3) private grant-making foundation committed to supporting medical science, research and education through targeted endowments, strategic partnerships, individualized grants and community sponsorships.

The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees and guided by a Scientific Advisory Board.

The Mary E. Groff Charitable Trust is grateful for the fiduciary services provided by the independently operated Glenmede Trust Company.
